Lazy, rainy Sunday:)

Today it started raining early this morning on our way to church & hasn't stopped since! Looks like we could get rain for 2-3 days straight so we came home & I made potato soup & "grown-up" grilled cheese. It was the perfect lunch for this kind of day. Below is a pic of the kids I took while sitting on the couch...this has pretty much been my view all day:)

Where do I start? Well, most importantly, they are my world! I know every mother says that but you truly do not know the meaning of that phrase until you look into the eyes of these beautiful little people that God created! Our first born, Avery Elise, is 4 going on 25. Again, something mothers have been saying for years but you do not know the meaning of until you have a girl. I call her the prissiest tomboy ever. She would put on her princess dress and tiara to go outside and play in the dirt! She's beautiful and smart and has her daddy completely wrapped around her finger...and she knows it! Our son, Garner Chase, is well....a boy. There is no other word that better describes Garner. He has no fear and destroys everything in his path. But, as all boys do, he holds a very special place in his mommys heart that can always make me a softy even in his worst moments! I'm completely in love with them and pray everyday that they will always live full, happy lives.
